Committees

Kingborough Council is a body corporate established under the provisions of the Local Government Act 1993.

Council is the ultimate policy and planning body of the organisation. It is comprised of twelve councillors elected by the residents and ratepayers of Kingborough, and is presided over by the Mayor as Chairperson.

Council meetings are held on the fourth Monday night of every month at 7.30 pm. Council's six Standing Committees, listed below, meet on a regular basis to discuss various aspects of Council business and make recommendations to Council.
