Meningococcal ACWY Update

Updated at 10am, Monday 6 August 2018

Meningococcal ACWY Update – Under 2 yrs vaccines available.

We still have some vaccines available for under 2 year old’s for each of the Wednesday and Friday clinics. Please book via the link provided.

We have no vaccines available for older ages for these clinics.

Any future clinics depend on when (or if) we receive more vaccines and on our medical practitioners availability.

We appreciate it is a very frustrating time for parents and we ask for you to please bear with us; we are doing our best to do what we can for the community, with what has been provided to us.

BOOK NOW FOR UNDER 2s – WEDNESDAY, 8 AUGUST 2018 CLINIC (5PM – 7PM)

BOOK NOW FOR UNDER 2s – FRIDAY, 10 AUGUST 2018 CLINIC (10AM – 12PM)

First published at 10am, 3 August 2018

The vaccines for over 2 year olds that Council has been provided with, have now all been allocated within the two clinics. We were only allocated a limited number of vaccines by the State Government.

Council encourages people who have missed out to contact your GP, pharmacist (for children aged 10 years and over), or visit the Department of Health and Human Services website for updated information and FAQs.

Council has requested more vaccines from the State Government, however, it is dependent upon availability and we are unable to determine how many we will receive. We have limited storage capacity and access to medical practitioners, but are trying to organise the best outcome we can achieve within these limitations.
