Emergency Traffic Management – Pelverata Road

There has been a landslip adjacent to and very close to the edge of Pelverata Road between the Sandfly Fire Station and the Cooke Rivulet Bridge.  As a result we have had to arrange emergency traffic management until repairs can be designed and constructed.

The affected section of road will be reduced to a single lane of traffic.  Motorists travelling south, from Sandfly Road toward Pelverata, will need to GIVE WAY to oncoming traffic.  The speed limit will be reduced to 40 km/h.  Southbound traffic may encounter queuing.

Council will place a Variable Message Board (VMB) near Sandfly Fire Station today to alert motorists of the changed traffic conditions.
