Kingborough Councillor, Amanda Midgley is calling for nominations from the community for the Kingborough Bicycle Advisory Committee (KBAC).
“Council is seeking individuals from Kingborough with an interest in bicycle related matters to participate in the Advisory Committee,” Cr Midgley said.
“The Committee aims to provide advice and assistance to Council on matters such as improving cycling safety, facilities and guidance on implementing the actions in the Kingborough Cycling Strategy.
“We encourage community members with an interest in cycling matters to join the committee and work with Council to advocate and promote cycling initiatives throughout Kingborough.
“Meetings are usually held on a Friday morning on a bi-monthly basis and the committee term is for 2 years.
“Nominations can be submitted by Monday 5 December 2022.”
