Kingborough Mayor, Paula Wriedt welcomed the annual calendar of seasonal walks offered as part of Council’s positive ageing program.
“Getting out into nature is such a great way to stay healthy and Kingborough has many excellent short and easy walks,” Cr Wriedt said.
“Guided by Council’s Natural Areas Interpretation Officer the program is informative as well as a great social outing.
“The walks are specifically chosen for their easiness as well as what they offer in terms of local flora and uniqueness.
“The final locations are yet to be set but we have arranged the dates for this year.”
- Autumn – Wednesday April 26
- Winter – Wednesday June 14
- Spring – Wednesday September 20
- Summer – Wednesday December 13
