Kingborough Council would like to wish all residents and visitors a happy, safe and peaceful Christmas and New Year.
The Council offices will be closed between Christmas and New Year.
The Civic Centre will be closed from 12.30pm on Friday 22 December 2023 and will re-open at 8.30am on Tuesday 2 January 2024.
Alonnah Service Centre will be closed on:
- Saturday 23 – Tuesday 26 December
- Saturday 30 December – Monday 1 January.
Alonnah Service Centre will be open on:
- Friday 22 December at 9am – 2pm
- Wednesday 27 – Friday 29 December and on Tuesday 2 January at 9am – 5pm.
Barretta Waste and Recycling Centre & Re-Use-Shop will be closed on 25 December only.
The centre will be open on public holidays from 9am – 4pm; the usual opening hours apply to all other days between Christmas and New Year.
- Kerbside Collection Service: No collection on Christmas Day. Collections scheduled for 25 December will occur on Sun 24 December. Please take bins out by 6am.
Bruny Island Waste & Recycling Centre will be closed on:
- Monday 25 & Tuesday 26 December and Tuesday 2 January.
The Centre will be open on:
- 22-24 December, 30 and 31 December and 1 January at 8am – 3.30pm.
Kingborough Sports Centre will close on Friday 22 December at 5pm and will re-open on Tuesday 2 January at 8.30am.
Kingborough Fitness Centre will be open on Saturday 23 & Sunday 24 December, Wednesday 27 – Sunday 31 December at 8am – 12pm.
The Fitness Centre will be closed on 25 and 26 December 2023 and Monday 1 January 2024.
