PLEASE NOTE: Council temporarily advising against recreational use/swimming at the Hinsby Beach due to a TasWater sewage leak.
The leak was discovered by TasWater who have now fixed the leak.
Temporary signs have been placed in the affected areas advising that the area may not be suitable for recreational use.
Water quality at this part of the beach may be unsuitable for recreational use/swimming for the next 24hrs.
The spill is not expected to affect areas beyond this.
