Work is progressing on the road reconstruction of the Wyburton Place in Margate.
Acting Mayor Christian Street said all stormwater, kerb and gutter works were now finished.
“Crews have now moved on to the next stage of the project, with footpath construction underway, including boxing preparation and concrete pours,” Cr Street said.
“Once complete, these works will provide residents with improved footpaths, better stormwater management and a safer, more comfortable street for everyone who uses it.”
Margate resident, Danny said the work had been progressing smoothly and that the contractor had done a great job keeping residents informed throughout the project.
