Kingborough residents now have even more opportunities to get active, with increased court availability at the Kingborough Sports Centre following the departure of the Tasmania JackJumpers from the facility.
Acting Mayor Christian Street said court hire can be used for basketball, netball, futsal, badminton and pickleball.
“With additional court availability, there’s more room for friends, families and teammates to get together for a social game over the upcoming school holidays,” Cr Street said.
Casual court hire is available from 3pm daily.
The Kingborough Sports Centre offers a range of casual hire options, including individual casual shooting sessions, pickleball and badminton courts, as well as exclusive half-court and full-court bookings.
