Events that are being held on Council owned or managed land require a permit. You may be required to fill out applications forms depending on your event.

Ceramic Pottery Painting with Stonedust Pottery
Get creative at our pottery painting workshop!
Choose from a beautiful selection of bowls, plates, mugs and specialty pieces, then decorate your chosen item using a range of colourful, non‑toxic underglazes. No experience needed – just bring your creativity and enjoy a relaxed session with friendly people.
Your ticket includes:
- One ceramic bisque item
- All paints and materials
- Clear glazing and firing
- Tea and coffee
More items will be available to pick from on the day, and specialty pieces can be purchased for an additional cost. If you’d like to reserve a particular item, just get in touch via artsinfo@kingborough.tas.gov.au
Your finished piece will be ready for pickup in 4-6 weeks. Once fired, your item will be fully usable and hand‑wash safe. If the unpredictable nature of ceramics causes your piece not to survive the firing, you’ll receive a full refund for the item or a credit to attend another session.
If your finished piece shows cracks or discolouration, it may no longer be food safe – but it can still be treasured as a decorative keepsake.
