Neighbourhood Narratives: Kingborough Creates!
November 22 @ 12:00 pm - November 23 @ 3:00 pm
$15
Calling all Kingborough Artists!
Join us for a weekend of creativity at the KIN Creative Space. An opportunity for artists and creatives to connect with each other, build skills, shape the outdoor space and potentially see the outcomes shared digitally.
Across two fun hand-on sessions, we will:
- Reimagine the outdoor space at KIN Creative Space — an underused area ready for some TLC.
- Dream up possibilities: from a community garden with murals and sculptures, to a pop-up sculpture park, a children’s creative play space, or even a mini art market.
- Build skills in collaboration, planning, and working with local stakeholders to get things done.
- Connect with others who want to make a difference — build friendships and networks that can spark even more creative projects in the future.
This won’t be another stuffy seminar. Using ConnectCurateCreate’s tried-and-tested creative framework, we’ll keep the workshops fun, collaborative and conversational.
Day 1 is all about ideas; Day 2 is about rolling up our sleeves to shape a clear action plan together.
Best of all, the outcomes can be captured on film and shared on YouTube, a chance to showcase how Kingborough is leading the way in community-led creativity.
Bookings essential, places limited to 15. Reserve your spot now via the registration button. Ideally, we’d love to see you at both workshops! Let us know if you can only make the one.
A light lunch will be provided.
** All artists and creatives living in Kingborough and surrounding areas are encouraged to attend.
