Come and Try ‘Shin Rin Yoku’ Mindfulness through Nature

As part of Council’s Nature Connections events during Mental Health Week 2022, join this mindful stroll in nature with Kara who will guide you in the practice of Shin-Rin Yoku. Connecting to the environment around you.

Join Kara, a certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide, for a 75 minute gentle contemplative stroll in nature.

Come and experience “Shin-rin Yoku” (sometimes translated to “forest bathing”), a way of connecting to nature and yourself.

This is a subsidised shorter session designed to give you a taste of what it’s all about.

Don’t be put off by the name “bathing” all your clothes remain on and all invitations to connect to the natural world around you are totally voluntary!
