Design by Making

In recognition of the centenary of the founding of the Bauhaus, this exhibition of design objects pay homage to the  iconic school, its teaching and the practice of design by making: a process of experimentation and innovation with techniques and materials in the development of ideas and production of new work.

The exhibition, presented by designed;made inc., features work from over 20 designers, makers and artists in a range of media and practices including jewellery, ceramics, textiles, timber, metal and glass.

designed;made inc is a not-for-profit group based in Hobart providing members with a platform to showcase their work and network with other designers and organisations
