KIN Collective Mural Project

The KIN Creative Space is located at the rear of Kingston Beach Hall and provides a dedicated arts space for workshops, creative projects and exhibitions.

In early 2025, a small group of local artists and creatives formed the KIN Collective, coming together to collaborate, network and share skills.

Guided by Tim Butcher from StoryCraft Productions and artist Fran Parker, the mural project was developed through a series of workshops focused on mind mapping, design skills and storytelling.

Themes including nature, animals, music, art, dance, food and entertainment were identified and incorporated into two mural designs created by Fran Parker.

The group collaborated to bring the murals to life, extending the project into the surrounding garden space to create a fresh new look for KIN.

Completed in 2026, the mural project marked the first step in activating the KIN Creative Space, with broader community events planned for the future.
