Yarn Bomb Kingston

Community call-out for participants to contribute to a fantastic community craft activity!

Knitters and crocheters are welcome to craft either the stem, leaves, flowers, bugs, birds, lady beetles, butterflies, or bees and more, that will feature in this amazing giant daisy chain Yarn bomb.

Crochet or knit at home or come along to one of our classes held at KIN Creative Space, Kingston Beach.  Our classes are listed HERE on our Events page and the classes at Kingston Library are listed HERE. (Kingston Library Events | Eventbrite)

If you prefer to craft at home, we have patterns available to download below.

All items created will be compiled together as part of a Giant Daisy Chain public art piece to be installed along the path on Beach Road, towards Kingston Beach.

The intended installation date is the 12 September – Mindfulness Day 2022. We will celebrate with a community BBQ in time for Mental Health Week.

Yarn Bomb Kingston is a project in partnership between Kingborough Council and Kingston Library. Facilitated by Kirsten Grant from Craftdyllic.
