Kingborough Cycling Strategy 2021-2030

Have Your Say

The Kingborough Bicycle Advisory Committee have worked with staff and an independent transport consultant to develop a cycling strategy for the municipality. The cycling strategy forms the key aspirations, actions and outcomes for Council over the next 10 years to improve cycling culture, safety and infrastructure.

The Strategy identifies a proposed cycling network with a range of infrastructure upgrades, advocacy actions, policies and programs to help make Kingborough a better place to cycle and to further encourage bike riding and active transport more broadly.

You can now view the draft strategy documents as well as the proposed network maps and provide feedback to Council before the strategy is finalised.

Please review the strategy and network maps and have your say by completing the online survey. The survey will also inform us how often you cycle in Kingborough and what the issues are that prevent you from cycling more. The survey will be open until 20 December 2021, with a report going to Council in the new year.
