This year for National Youth Week – “Youth: Next Gen” ( 4 – 10 April 2022) we will be celebrating with a Youth Arts Showcase!
What: This will feature art display, live performance, maker markets and food trucks all held all in one spacious setting of the Kingborough Community Hub in Kingston.
We need: Council is currently seeking expressions of interest from young people (ages 12-24) who would like to be part of the showcase as one of the below:
- Artists, open to all types of media for exhibition on the day – theme of artwork: Future Visions
- Stall holders, for a Makers Market
- Performers – such as musicians, dance, circus, DJs, drama
Who: This opportunity is open to all young people who are Kingborough residents or attend school in Kingborough.
Money: There will be cash prizes for the exhibition, payment for the performances and free stalls for the market.
