Community Halls & Facilities


Council-owned halls are available for hire across the municipality, catering to large and small groups.  Our facilities list and map will assist in locating a hall and the schedule of fees will provide you will information regarding the cost of hiring a hall.

COVID-19 Safe Events and Activities Framework

The Tasmanian Government has implemented a range of strategies to prevent the importation and spread of COVID-19 in the community.

For one-off events, excluding private gatherings such as weddings and birthday parties, please refer to the Business Tasmania web page (external link) for information and complete the WorkSafe Tasmania Events COVID-19 Safety Plan (external link).
For private gatherings, an attendance register is strongly recommended to assist with any potential contact tracing requirements.
Regular/ongoing hirers must have a COVID-19 Safety Plan in place that has been reviewed and approved by Council.  Please contact Council your proposed hire arrangement and further information can be provided.
