Kingborough Council is on a mission to reduce the amount of waste that is sent to landfill. That is why a new recycling unit has been installed at the Kingborough Council Civic Centre.
The unit is available for people to drop off their difficult to recycle items from 8.30 am to 5 pm at Civic Centre, 15 Channel Highway, Kingston Tasmania 7050
Items available to recycle here are:
- Household batteries
- Ink and toner cartridges
- Light globes
- Pens and markers
- X-rays
- Coffee pods
- Mobile phones
- Books and magazines
- Small electronic waste (mobile phones, personal and laptop computers and cables, tablets, notebooks, computer parts and accessories in small quantity)
