Kingborough Council has a new business tool to help reduce waste to landfill and improve participation in the circular economy.
ASPIRE is an innovative online platform for local businesses and people to exchange their waste resources that would otherwise go to landfill.
The platform allows people to sign up and search, swap or sell your resources to other businesses or people who can repurpose their waste.
Any business, irrespective of size or industry can utilise the platform to become more sustainable and resource-efficient.
Businesses can use the platform to either upload their own waste resources that they want to give away or can register their interests of resource if they are looking to acquire.
The platform is free for businesses with under 20 staff and then there is a fee for businesses with more than 20 staff.
