Garage Sale Trail, the multi-award winning sustainability and community campaign powered by local councils, is back again as a weekend long event on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 October, 2017.
Kingborough Council is getting into the spirit of things with a free green waste weekend at the Barretta Waste Transfer Facility over the both days of the weekend between 9.00am and 4.00pm.
Bring along your green waste and garden clippings and pay no disposal fees, provided the size is less than 5 cubic metres per household disposal.
While you’re at the Barretta facility on Saturday 21 October, come into the Re-Use Shop, grab a free sausage and enjoy the Upcycling Workshop and stalls with local artists. You’ll be amazed at what you can make from ‘trash’!
If you’d like to join in a garage sale but don’t think you have enough items, you can book a table at the Rotary Mega Garage Sale on Sunday 22 October.
