The new Green Waste Bins will be delivered to eligible property owners registered for the service during July 2020.
The service will start from Monday, 5 October and the first collection will occur from this date. They will be collected on the same day as your general waste bin, but on the opposite week to your recycling collection.
Due to the delay of the service, a pro rata charge of $64 will be applied for the 2020-21 financial year.
REMEMBER: Do not put your new green bin out before 5 October.
Items that can go in the new green waste bin are:
- Weeds
- Grass Clippings
- Flowers
- Leaves
- Prunings
- Twigs
- Small branches (shorter than 30cm and less than 10cm in diameter)
