Seniors Week will be ushered in by a group of enthusiastic young people who are learning how to cater and prepare for a large function.
With current restrictions the regular three-course luncheon will not be possible, however, a delightful afternoon tea is planned for a limited number of people. The event will again be held at the Twin Ovals Function Centre, where 60 guests can enjoy spectacular views over Kingston.
The young hosts will be volunteering in their school holidays to learn the art of creating delicious sweet and savoury treats. They will also be taught useful organising skills such as how to plan for a large function in a professional setting.
The event is being held on Friday, 9 October at 1.30 pm and will cost $15 which includes afternoon tea, a drink, and entertainment.
