Tracks

New Tracks and Trails publication available

The latest edition of Kingborough’s Tracks and Trails booklet is now available.

This updated guide features 43 walking tracks across Kingborough, offering options from short, easy strolls to full-day, challenging hikes.

To improve community access to our tracks and trails information, Council also provides a suite of interactive digital maps that you can access on your phone.

The Kingborough Mayor, Paula Wriedt said the digital maps for tracks and trails were a valuable tool for helping residents explore and connect with their local environment.

“Our website and social media data clearly show just how much our community loves using Kingborough’s tracks and trails, they’re some of our most visited and talked-about facilities,” Cr Wriedt said.

“We are committed to improving access to these spaces, helping to connect our community while promoting active, healthy lifestyles and sustainable transport options.

“Discovering local tracks and trails is a great way to support both mental and physical wellbeing.

“Not only do we benefit from the exercise, but also from the connections we make with neighbours and local walking networks.”

“As you explore, you’ll come to appreciate Kingborough’s diverse environment, offering the chance to connect with nature and experience some of Tasmania’s most stunning coastal and bushland areas,” Cr Wriedt said.
