Kingborough Council is inviting local artists and creatives to a free networking session on Tuesday, 5 August 2025, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm at the KIN Creative Space in Kingston Beach.
Mayor, Paula Wriedt said the event was a great opportunity for Kingborough’s creative community to come together, make new connections, and be inspired.
“This is a chance to meet fellow creatives, share ideas, and build supportive networks within our local arts community,” Cr Wriedt said.
The session will feature guest speaker Emma Wilson from Apple Box Studio, a Tasmanian-based organisation known for its innovative programs and commitment to helping artists build sustainable creative careers.
Emma will share insights into the studio’s journey and the ways it is supporting artists across the state.
“Whether you’re an established or an emerging artist, or simply interested in the arts, we welcome you to come along and be part of this relaxed and inspiring evening,” Cr Wriedt said.
Light refreshments will be provided.
KIN Creative Space is located at the rear of Kingston Beach Hall, 20 Beach Road, Kingston Beach.
