The Kingborough Community Hub will come alive with laughter and holiday cheer when it hosts a Christmas Carol Pantomime on December 12 and 13.
Acting Mayor Clare Glade-Wright said this year’s production is a vibrant and humorous twist on the beloved Charles Dickens classic, brought to life by our talented local youth.
“The cast has been busy rehearsing for the festive production with the help and direction from the Isabella Rose Stage Company,” Cr Glade-Wright said.
“Audiences can expect three performances over two days, blending spoken word, traditional theatre, and plenty of pantomime humour to delight all ages.
“The story follows the famously grumpy Ebenezer Scrooge as he’s visited by three magical spirits who help him rediscover kindness, community, and the true spirit of Christmas.
“Council partnered with a Kingborough-based theatre company Isabella Rose Stage Company (IRSC) for the auditions and production.
“Cast auditions were open to young people who live or attend school in Kingborough.
“Tickets have been selling fast and with a limit of 160 people per performance, early bookings are recommended.”
