Council Wins Tasmanian Top Solver Award

Kingborough Council has been recognised as the winner of the Tasmanian Top Solver Award in Snap Send Solve’s Solver of the Year Awards for 2026.

Mayor Paula Wriedt said the award reflects Council’s ongoing commitment to providing responsive service and improvements for the community.

“Snap Send Solve is a mobile app that allows residents to quickly report issues by taking a photo and sending it directly to Council,” Cr Wriedt said.
“These reports can relate to anything from graffiti and potholes to dumped rubbish, trip hazards, illegal parking and more.”

The Solver of the Year Awards were announced on Thursday, 26 February, celebrating the outstanding efforts of local councils across Australia and New Zealand that use the platform to drive positive change in their communities.

Kingborough Council secured the Tasmanian Top Solver Award based on its strong performance in the Snap Send Solve 2025 Community Satisfaction Index Ranking.

Mayor Wriedt said the recognition highlights the important role community reporting plays in improving local services.

“We’re proud to receive this award,” Cr Wriedt said.

“It shows what we can achieve when our community works with us to keep Kingborough safe, clean and vibrant.”
