National Tree Day 2025 in Snug

Everyone is welcome at this year’s community planting event, hosted by Kingborough Council, and supported by the Community Association of Greater Snug and the North West Bay Scout Group.
The Snug coastline needs our care and protection. Together, we can make a difference by planting native vegetation that will help strengthen the coastal dune and reduce future storm damage.
This event is part of a broader Council project focused on planning for future climate impacts at Snug, including increased frequency and intensity of storm events that will lead to greater beach erosion and more frequent coastal flooding.
