Channel Talks – Staying Strong: Exercise for Active Adults 60+

Join us for an engaging and informative session designed for active older adults who want to maintain mobility, strength, and independence. This talk will explore how exercise can support healthy aging, prevent injuries, and enhance physical performance for those aged 60 and over.
Led by a qualified physiotherapist, the session will cover:
- Common physical challenges faced by older adults
- Safe and effective exercises to improve strength, balance, and flexibility
- Tips for preventing falls and managing joint pain
Whether you’re a regular walker, a keen gardener, or just looking to stay active and pain-free, this session will provide practical advice and inspiration to help you move with confidence.
Doors open at 10:45am. The talk will be from 11am to 12pm and will allow time for general questions.
