Unfortunately, disasters have the potential to significantly disrupt your business activities and cause financial setbacks. Disasters can be a threat to life, property and profits but being prepared is your best insurance. It is time well spent and can reduce damages as well as the overall cost of disasters.
This two-hour workshop aims to support you in identifying processes to be followed before, during and after a disaster, which will help manage risks to you as a business owner. There will be key insights into planning, preparing, responding and recovering from major business interruptions as well as practical tools to help mitigate these.
This free workshop is presented by the Small Business Mentoring Service and is supported by the Tasmanian Government. Further workshops will be held later this year at Burnie, Scottsdale, West Coast, Sorell and Huon Valley.
