Events that are being held on Council owned or managed land require a permit. You may be required to fill out applications forms depending on your event.

A Dose of Nature – weekly mindful activities in Kingborough Reserves
June 11 @ 9:30 am - 10:00 am
An event every week that begins at 9:30 am on Thursday, repeating until 26 November, 2026

Join Council’s Natural Areas Interpretation Officer, BJ and health professionals for a slow, gentle activity in nature. Sessions will focus on the natural world around us and the health benefits of spending time in nature.
Each Thursday from 09:30 – 10:00am, A Dose of Nature will be held in the following reserves and order:
Ash Drive Rocks 1st Thursday of the month
Meet at the access track adjacent to numbers 22 and 24 Ash Drive
Kingston Wetlands 2nd Thursday of the month
Meet at the wetlands entrance on Channel Highway (by Bus Stop 38)
Huntingfield Reserve 3rd Thursday of the month
Meet at the end of the Peter Murrel Reserve access road, off Huntingfield Road.
Tyndall Beach 4th Thursday of the month
Meet at the Tyndall Beach (Kingston dog beach) carpark.
Self-guided activity 5th Thursday of the month
These reserves are current from June 2026 – end November 2026
