About this event
This three-hour intensive workshop will introduce participants to external preparations that you can make at home using plants that will grow in your garden.
Sarah is a qualified naturopath with a long history of using herbs and works professionally as a herbal medicine manufacturer. She will be your guide to developing your expertise in three essential preparations.
Suitable for beginner to intermediate makers. All herbs used in the workshop will be certified organic.
You will learn
HOW TO MAKE POULTICES AND PLASTERS – Discover the magic of external preparations using a range of herbs for different applications.
HOW TO MAKE HERBAL OILS – Discover how to make fresh plant and dried plant oils using a variety of methods as well as the unique requirements of specific plants.
HOW TO MAKE CREAMS + OINTMENTS + BALMS + PASTES- Discover how to make a range of balms for cosmetics, home use and first aid and the unique requirements for each.
All participants will leave with three different products.
