Kingborough Council provides a range of designated off‑lead exercise areas where dogs can be safely exercised and socialised. Off‑lead exercise areas are places where dogs can be exercised without a lead, provided they remain under effective control, meaning they stay close to you, within your sight, and respond straight away when you call or give a command.
These areas are declared through Council’s Dog Management Policy to support responsible dog ownership while protecting public spaces and the natural environment.
