Friday 4 October at Snug Oval is set to be a great school holiday afternoon at Snug Oval. Starting with the official opening of the new Ashton Denehey Park at 1.30pm where a range of new playground equipment will open for youngsters to explore and enjoy. The playground is host to a flying fox, ping pong set-up, traditional swings and equipment to challenge and delight in.
To celebrate the opening of the new park an afternoon of free family fun will kick off at 2pm. The fabulous Social Circus will be there offering hula hooping, balancing and circus fun to try. Kids will also be able to try Crazy Bikes – custom made bikes which range from very easy and loads of fun to the almost impossible to ride but fun to try variety. There’ll be a Sands Family Circus performance, zorb balls and sporting activities to try. All this serious fun will be happening from 2pm until 4pm at Snug Oval.
