Kingborough Council is responsible for the municipality’s roads, reserves, sports facilities, stormwater systems and solid waste management. In order to maintain the local infrastructure, we undertake a schedule of planned works every year. These works are a combination of ongoing maintenance work, as well as new capital projects.
We aim to provide an overview of works currently in the pipeline.
Dates and times are supplied with the best of accuracy but may change without notice . If start and completion dates are unknown at this stage a default financial year timeframe is set.

This week’s schedule for maintenance work across Kingborough for the week of 13 July, 2026:
Blackmans Bay: Drain cleaning on Rosyln Avenue
Bruny Island: Grader work on Killora Road
Longley: Grader work on Vinces Saddle Road. Drainage work on Vinces Saddle Road
Margate: Grader work on Frosts Road. Street sweeping at various locations
Middleton. Grader work on McDowall Street and Honeys Road
Sandfly: Culvert upgrade on Vinces Saddle Road (near 208)
Snug: Asphalt mill and fill works on Snug Esplanade and on Davies Road. Street sweeping in various locations
