Community Engagement on Kingborough Council’s Strategic Plan

This consultation is now closed.  It was open from Thursday, 28 August until Wednesday, 1 October.

The responses received from the community will help shape Council’s Strategic Plan, which will guide Council’s work and priorities over the next 10 years.

A COLLABORATIVE APPROACH

The draft Plan has been shaped through workshops with Councillors and staff and informed by feedback gathered from the community during past engagement activities.

At the core of the draft Strategic Plan are the Vision and Purpose, carried forward from the previous Plan because they remain relevant and aligned with community values.

The Plan is built around five key values that define how Council will operate:

  • Accountability
  • Collaboration
  • Equity
  • Innovation
  • Sustainability

It sets out five strategic priorities, each with clear objectives (what we want to achieve) and guiding principles (how we will do it). These high-level directions will shape future strategies, actions and budgets.
