Each year Council provides funding to community groups through its Community Grants Program. This grant stream provides financial assistance to not–for–profit community groups and organisations to develop and implement projects and activities which enhance the well–being of the community.
Kingborough Council will consider applications from eligible community organisations for grants of up to $3,000.
Council encourages groups completing an application to provide detailed information, including quotes and benefits, to make sure all the necessary criteria are met.
The Community Grants Programs support activities and initiatives such as:
- Community health and wellbeing
- Arts and culture
- Community development
- Heritage and history
- Sport and recreation
- Festivals and events
- Environmental projects
- Sustainable living
