LOCAL PROVISIONS SCHEDULE

The Kingborough Draft Local Provisions Schedule (LPS) was endorsed by Council on 9 December 2019 and again on 11 February 2020, when errors on the LPS mapping were fixed. It should be noted that it is very likely that the mapping and supporting material as submitted to the Tasmanian Planning Commission (TPC) in 2019 will change before Kingborough Council can commence with a process to seek community input on the changes.

The LPS contains zone maps and overlay maps or description of places where the codes apply. It also contains local area objectives and any planning controls for unique places specific to the municipality.

If you want to know more about how to interpret the Tasmanian Planning Scheme refer to:

This an interactive version of the draft mapping Council submitted to the TPC in 2019.

The mapping may change as part of the TPC’s review before Council enters the exhibition period.
