Kingborough Bicycle Advisory Committee

The Committee aims to provide advice and assistance to Council on cycling issues to provide better facilities and improved safety for cyclists and to encourage and promote the use of bicycles in Kingborough for transport and recreation.

Chairperson – Cr Amanda Midgley

Deputy Chairperson – Cr Clare Glade-Wright

The Committee includes representatives from Cycling South and the Bicycle Network Tasmania.

Meetings are usually held on a Friday morning on a bi-monthly basis.

Cycling Strategy

The Committee have worked with staff and a transport consultant to develop a Cycling Strategy for Kingborough. The strategy was endorsed by Council on 21 February 2022.
